GEOX FOR WWF SPRING/SUMMER 2020 KIDS CAPSULE COLLECTION

Launch of Spring/Summer 2020 Kids capsule collection
Proceeds from the 2020 capsule collection will go towards supporting WWF’s conservation projects that work to protect endangered wildlife. Always one step ahead in its quest for innovative solutions to boost the wellbeing of feet, GEOX has come up with a special collection of boys and girls footwear that offer the greatest protection and utmost comfort thanks to the patented technologies developed by the Italian brand.
The claim of the GEOX for WWF SS20 kids capsule collection, present on the upper of some footwear, is: WE ARE ALL WILDLIFE, and made up of 14 junior models (high- or low-top with a laceup fastening or velcro closure) elevated with a subtle natural palette and embellished with drawings and animal prints reminiscent of the panda, tiger, cheetah, elephant, etc. GEOX is increasingly opting for production methods and materials that are more sustainable and environmentally friendly. All the footwear has been made from recycled cotton fibre or leather sourced from certified and verified LWG (Leather Working Group) suppliers whereas the outsoles have been made from 20% recycled rubber. On the other hand, as far as packaging concerned, the boxes come in FSC certified paper, just like the hang tags, the tissue paper is made from pure cellulose and the padding from 100% recycled paper.
One of the objectives of the two year partnership between GEOX and the WWF is to create awareness amongst the new the new generations about the value of nature and wildlife to our lives and the importance of protecting it. In order to help safeguard endangered animal species, GEOX will make a contribution of € 2 for each piece of GEOX for WWF footwear sold from 1st August 2019 to 30th September 2021 with a guaranteed annual contribution of € 200,000. This will be GEOX’s way of lending support to WWF in its efforts to protect some of the most iconic animals on the Planet.
